Letter Phobia

collage.0The Satin Candy team are trained professionals at bra fitting and are able to measure and fit ANYONE to get you feeling gorgeous in a perfectly fitted bra. The problem is that the technical aspect of the correct bra size becomes irrelevant if you are not mentally ready for the new size; especially as most women recoil at a cup letter over a D.

Letter Phobia can be a very real block for women. It can stop them from even trying on a bra and we have known women to get angry, distressed, upset and sometimes even cry because of a cup size.

Don’t let letter phobia cause you to live years in an uncomfortable bra that makes you feel self-conscious and unhappy. Society and the media have always misinterpreted bra sizes. The majority of people believe a D cup boob is enormous. If you come into either of the Satin Candy stores, ask us questions and educate yourself on sizes, you will often hear one of the girls saying that a D cup is actually quite small and a common size – especially in our stores! Once you put it all into perspective, it becomes manageable and normal.

We have boobs, ladies! They come in all shapes, sizes and colours. Let’s not be ashamed or coy about our fabulous, feminine and beautiful assets.
